Several anime and gaming communities participated in this exciting event, including AKID (Arknights Indonesia Regional Yogyakarta), Anime Hideout Yogyakarta, and a combined Fate/Grand Order community from Solo, Klaten, and Yogyakarta. Also present were Project Sekai Yogyakarta, D4DJ Jogja, Yu-Gi-Oh Yogyakarta, YK Squadra, Hoyoverse SKJ x ARPG, Wibufest Jogja, FCO SKY, Bandori YKm, O.R.E.N (Osu! Regional Ngayogyakarta), and many other anime and game communities.
I visited a few of the community booths and had the chance to play a racing game hosted by the GT Yogyakarta Squadra Association. Although racing games aren’t my strongest suit, I gave it a shot. If you were at the event, you might’ve seen me get thoroughly beaten by other players! But don’t get me wrong — it was a thrilling experience, especially because it was my first time using a professional racing steering wheel setup for Gran Turismo.

The GT Yogyakarta Squadra Association booth was quite popular. The owner was very welcoming and provided clear guidance and explanations, especially helpful for beginners unfamiliar with the game.
The event wasn’t limited to games. A guest cosplayer also caught the attention of both anime fans and casual visitors. Open to the public, the event charged an affordable entry fee of only IDR 20,000, valid from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Cosplayers were granted free entry, which added extra appeal for the local anime community in Yogyakarta.

In addition to booths and gaming experiences, the event featured live performances, including dance and singing acts, as well as informative sessions and game education — particularly about Uma Musume, which was presented in an engaging and accessible way.
One of the liveliest booths was Anikarta Yogyakarta. It was bustling with both community members and curious visitors. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, making it easy for people to ask questions or join casual discussions, especially about anime topics.

It’s worth noting that the event didn’t include a Cosplay Walk. So, if you saw cosplayers at the venue, they were simply expressing their enthusiasm and love for the event through their costumes — not competing in any contest.
