Although gaming on Nintendo consoles have many fans in Indonesia, but the number is still relatively small compared to the popularity of Sony’s PlayStation. One big difference is that Sony provides an official Indonesia region for PlayStation consoles, while Nintendo does not. So far, Indonesia is not yet included in Nintendo’s supported regions, unlike our neighboring countries — Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines — which already have official Nintendo regions. However, only Singapore currently has an official Nintendo eShop.

This time, Indonesian gamers have good news about Nintendo’s latest console. Previously, the Nintendo Switch 2 was never officially released in Indonesia. Local sellers could only import it from abroad and resell it here. Now, Toys Kingdom has officially brought the Switch 2 to Indonesia. However, this does not yet mean Indonesia has been added to Nintendo’s official region selector on its website or console settings.
Toys Kingdom’s official Switch 2 bundle includes the console itself, a screen protector, and a Mario Kart World game cartridge. The official price is around IDR 11.5 million. This is noticeably higher than prices offered by sellers who import units from neighboring countries. Based on our monitoring on July 9th, 2025 at 8:19 AM, several Indonesian marketplaces offered similar bundles for about IDR 9.5 million, showing a significant price difference.

The main advantage of buying through Toys Kingdom is the warranty. You’ll get a 6-month product warranty that covers factory defects. Meanwhile, imported units typically only come with a store warranty, which varies by seller.
If you’re interested in buying an official Nintendo Switch 2 in Indonesia, you can find it at Toys Kingdom stores starting in early July 2025. It will be available in 10 locations, including Living World Alam Sutera, Gandaria City, and Kota Kasablanka in Jakarta. Other branches in Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Bali, and Pekanbaru will also have it in stock.
So, are you planning to get your Switch 2 from an official retailer or stick with an imported one?
